I am the new coordinator for Martins A+ Rewards Program in my daughters school. I wanted to make sure that everyone new of the benefits of shopping at Martins. Please read this post to help you save on groceries at Martins. You can read about Martins A+ Rewards program here http://www.martinsaplus.com/. You can also browse Martins website for other special savings and offers while there.
Many of you may think that Martins is much too pricey of a store to shop. On the outside it can certainly seem that way, however, there are many benefits to shopping at Martins.
Martins has a Bonus Card program. Martins offers a selection of items each week at discounted prices and it is only for Bonus Card holders. If you do not have a Bonus Card please sign up to get one. Without the Bonus Card you do not receive any of the benefits of shopping at Martins. You MUST be a Bonus Card holder to participate in the A+ School Rewards Program.
They double coupons up to $1.00. So if you have a coupon for $.50 off of an item that would then be $1.00 off of that item. If the coupon you have is for $.75 cents off of an item it would not be doubled but you would get the $1.00 off rather than just $.75. If your coupon is for $1.00 or more then it is just that value that will be deducted.
Martins also offers gas rewards points. For every dollar you spend at Martins you get 1 gas rewards point. For every 100 gas rewards points you earn you will get $.10 off per gallon of gas. Each week Martins has certain items on sale that you can purchase to earn extra gas rewards points. This benefit in itself is worth my shopping at Martins as I drive 75 miles one way to work 4 days a week.
Martins also offers rewards for Upromise members. If you are not a member of Upromise I suggest you go sign up right now, regardless of whether or not you choose to shop at Martins. There are so many benefits to the Upromise program. All the money you earn/save through Upromise is allocated towards your children’s’ college education. On top of earning rewards at Martins, you also earn rewards at other merchants, such as CVS and Food Lion. There are also monthly coupons on Upromise where you can save additional money on select products to be deposited in your child’s education fund. Once you have money in your Upromise account you may choose to invest it in a 529 plan. If you want to join Upromise please contact me first as I may be able to get you a $5.00 bonus deposit for new members.
Another benefit to shopping at Martins is that you can do it without the kids throwing things into or out of your cart and embarrassing you in the store. They have Martins Club House in the store. It is a daycare for the kids while you shop. Be prepared the first time you want to utilize this service because you have to fill out this 10 page form and provide identification and so forth. You may want to pick that up take it home to complete and then return it when you are shopping the next time.
